- Black and white photograph showing Corporal Ansel Martindale. Ansel was born and raised on the Martindale farm, east of the Kingsmill school. Son of Harvey Martindale, Ansel left his wife and children in the care of his father when he volunteered for overseas service. Upon his return, he purchased the cheese factory at Lyons and converted it to a garage and service station. Included in the Kingsmill-Mapleton Women's Institute History Vol. 1.
