- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published March 21, 1969 with caption: "11 Miles is a Long Way - About 100 young people joined the 11-mile "fun-a-long" walk yesterday, sponsored by the Holy Angels' young adult committee. The walk gave them a complete tour of the city. Shown here at the start of yesterday's walk are: (left to right) Betty Anne Crocker of 324 Sunset Drive; Sandra Webber of 1 Omemee Street; Ald. E. J. Rice acting St. Thomas mayor, who started the walk; Linda Sherrah of 51 Queen Street; and Cathy Dawdy of Sparta. About 75 persons completed the walk, and the best time for the walk was one hour and 59 minutes."
