Among those who returned were, seated from left, Al Burford, who came the furthest to the reunion from Labrador City, Newfoundland; Ron Clayton from Winnipeg, who still flies and works for Transportation and Communications checking pilots for instrument standards; Art Wilson, St. Thomas businessman who flies as a hobby and keeps his own private plane at the St. Thomas Municipal Airport; and standing, from left, Bob Pettus now from Brooklyn, Ontario, and Jim Maynes from Vancouver, B.C., ex-airmen who met during the Second World War and later formed Elgin Airways and the flying school in St. Thomas; and Dave Reid of Burford, who organized the reunion."
