- Shows a horse-drawn St. Thomas Street Railway car in front of the Free Trade Building on the northeast corner of Talbot Street and St. George Street, St. Thomas, ca. 1895 (pre-dating the electrification of the Street Railway in 1898). The view is looking northwest and includes the Joseph Mickleborough dry goods store, 243-245 Talbot Street, northwest corner of Talbot Street and St. George Street; and the Stephen B. Pocock boots and shoes store at 249 Talbot Street. A horse-drawn milk or ice wagon is also in view. This is one of only two known images showing a horse-drawn St. Thomas Street Railway car.
