- Description
- Silver medal with a ribbon attachment. Ribbon is vertically striped red, white and blue. There is a safety pin at the top of the ribbon. The medal has head effigies, the side profiles of Queen Elizabeth and King George. It says, "May 1937", "CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI & QUEEN ELIZABETH". The obverse of the coin depicts a woman holding a laurel branch (probably Britannia). Britannia overlooks the flag of the United Kingdom, Windosr Palace, etc. It states "LONG MAY THEY REIGN". There is a button attached to the ribbon. The button has the Union Jack covering the face of it.
