- Description
- Framed lithographic print of a young boy. He has wavy, light brown hair, and faces the right, in profile. He looks toward the upper right corner of the frame. He wears a white choir gown with a black collar. He holds a closed book in front of him. The image itself is ovate in shape, and has a wide, brown matting. Displayed in a rectangular wood and plaster frame, and overlaid with glass. The inner border of the frame is wide, carved with ornate organic decoration, and coated in gold leaf. The outer border of the frame is stained a light orange-brown. The contents of the frame are held in place by two thin pieces of wood. A wire runs across the back of the frame, attached to a metal loop at either side. A handwritten note in pencil is on the lower of the two pieces of wood. Though mostly illegible, the words "E. Kelly" begin the message.
