- Framed advertisement for the Cowan Cocoa and Chocolate Company and Cowan's Perfection Cocoa. The advertisement is printed on thin cardboard and lined at the top and bottom by gold-coloured metal. The advertisement features a young girl, seated, facing the left in a three-quarter view. She wears a red hat with a wide brim, a white dress with a red sash or belt, and a white coat. She holds a tin of Cowan's Perfection Cocoa in her left hand, which faces the viewer and bears the words "NUTRITIOUS" and "ABSOLUTELY PURE." In the background at the left is an orange sunset above an open field, and at the right side is a tree surrounded by various foliage. At the top of the image is the text "COWAN'S MILK CHOCOLATE" in green text, decorated with a green flourish. The image is surrounded with a border consisting of a green ribbon, tied in a six-looped bow at each corner, and decorated with yellow and purple pansies. Surrounding this is a wider, red border. The Cowan Cocoa and Chocolate Company was located at 72 Sterling Rd. in Toronto. It was founded by John M. Cowan in 1899, and sold to the English Rowntree Chocolate Company in 1926.

- Framed lithographic print of an advertisement for the Pompeian Manufacturing Company. The print features a woman, depcited in full. She wears a hat with a wide brim and an elaborately embroidered dress. The hat is light blue or purple in colour, and decorated with large blue and purple feathers and a jewelled, golden-coloured metal embellishment. The dress is also a light blue or purple, with a Queen Anne-type neckline and an ornate brooch on her chest, golden in colour and decorated with inlaid and dangling gems, from which strings of pearls trail downward to drape around her hips. The embroidery on the dress is golden in colour, and forms a swirling organic pattern, interspersed with red gems. The woman holds a handkerchief or scarf up to her right cheek with a white-gloved hand. There are white lilies at the bottom left corner of the image. A small panel at the bottom of the image reads "'POMPEIAN BEAUTY' BY FORBES." Below the panel is the text "COPYRIGHT, 1909, BY THE POMPEIAN MFG. CO." Details, the background, and the small panel at the bottom of the image are either overlaid with gold leaf or printed with a gold-laced pigment. The Pompeian Manufacturing Company was largely known for their Pompeian Massage Cream and Skin Food, trademarked in 1901 and developed by British pharmacist Fred W. Stecher. The company went on to manufacture beauty powder, cold cream, rouge, lipstick, and various cosmetic products. The Pompeian Manufacturing Company was liquidated in 1950.

Most automobile companies made their own exteriors as time went on, so in 1924 Cockshutt Plow Co. bought Tudhope Carriage Co.

- Framed banner created by the Women's Institute of Springfield to celebrate the centennial of Canada's confederation. The background of the banner is a blue fabric, and in its center is a stylized maple leaf, decorated with a geometric pattern of triangles. - Bylaw enacted 1858 "to Provide for keeping in Repair and Improving the Public Highways and Roads of the Municipality, and to Regulate the Performance of Statute Labour." Passed in council in the Township of Malahide as bylaw no. 3 with the authority of Hugh Maginnis, Reeve, and Philip Hodgkinson, Township Clerk. Consists of four columns of text which contain nine sections total. 1. Every male resident of the Municipality between 21 and 60 shall work two days on the highways every year, depending on the value of their individual properties. 2. Labour will be enacted under the direction and supervision of Overseers of the Highways to be annually appointed by the Council. 3. Contains a list of duties of the Overseer of the Highway. 4. Individuals exempt from highway maintenance. 5. Stipulations for the immediate repair of roads in the case of sudden damages. 6. "Indigents" may avoid road repair labour with municipality-provided certificates. 7. On the rescheduling of road work. 8. Fines for individuals who refuse road labour. - Certificate presented to one Charles R. McCabe which authorized his operation of an Orange Lodge in Aylmer. Presented in Toronto on September 5th, 1953, by J.E. Cloney, Grand Master of Brtitish America. This was to establish the Loyal Orange Lodge no. 3233. Displayed in gold-painted wooden frame and overlaid with glass.
Full text: "Most Worshipful Grand Orange Lodge of British North America. Instituted by Imperial Warrant, A.D. 1832, Incorporated by Parliament of Canada, A.D. 1890. No. 3233. By Virtue of this Dispensation Charles R. McCabe and his successors in office are hereby authorized and empowered to open and work a Primary Orange Lodge at Aylmer in the Province of Ontario to be known as Loyal Orange Lodge Number 3233 and to act as Worshipful Master thereof; and this Dispensation shall remain in full force and effect until a regular Incorporated Warrant shall have been issued. Given under my hand at Toronto this 15th day of September, A.D. 1953. J.E. Cloney, Grand Master of British America."
The Orange Order began as a Protestant fraternal order in Northern Ireland. It was founded in 1795 during a period of Protestant-Catholic conflict, as a Masonic-style fraternity sworn to maintain the Protestant Ascendancy. The name Loyal Orange Lodge is a tribute to the Dutch-born King William of Orange, who defeated the army of Catholic King James II. Irish-born Protestant immigrants brought the Orange Order to British North America. The first recorded Lodge formed in, what is now Canada, was in New Brunswick in 1873. While initially dominated by Irish Protestants, the Orange Order quickly accepted English, Scottish, German, and First Nations members, as well as some United Empire Loyalists. Members in Canada proudly defended Protestantism and the British connection, while providing mutual aid. Financial support was provided to members during times of illness or unemployment, and upon a member’s death, the Order often helped to alleviate the financial burden on widows and orphans by covering funeral costs and burial fees. Fraternal association was reinforced through the rituals, ceremonies, initiations, passwords, and by wearing Orange sashes in council sessions and parades.
The mission statement of the Loyal Orange Lodge is working together for Family, Community and Country. The Grand Orange Lodge stands for Democratic Government, Promoting and Maintaining the Protestant Faith, The Public School Concept, Supporting the Monarchy, Supremacy of Law, and a United Canada. The purpose of the Orange Lodge in Canada is to encourage its members to actively participate in a Protestant Church of their choice, to actively support the Canadian system of government, to anticipate legislation and its impact on the civil and religious liberties of all Canadians, to provide social activities that will enrich the lives of its members, and to participate in Benevolent activities which enrich our communities and our country.
Grand Orange of Canada Family Members include Loyal Orange Lodge (L.O.L), Royal Black Institution in Canada (R.B.P.), Ladies Orange Benevolent Association (L.O.B.A.), Loyal True Blue (L.T.B.), Junior Orange Lodge (J.O.L.).

- Framed examination results. Consists of two documents. The upper document certifies that Ina Leeson passed Part I of Junior Matriculation exams, held July 1899 in Aylmer. The lower document certifies that Ina Leeson has achieved Junior Leaving Standing, as of July, 1901. At the upper left corner of both documents is the crest of the Education Department of Ontario. It is displayed in a wooden frame and overlaid with glass. The inner border of the frame has been painted white with gold accents, and has been carved in relief with a leaf pattern. The outer border has been painted mint or light green with gold accents, and has been carved in relief with grape vines.

- Framed certificate which permits Dr. Charles W. Marlatt to practice physic [sic], surgery, and midwifery in Ontario. It was signed by the President, Vice President, and Registrar of the College of Physicians and Surgeons on April 12th, 1872. At the top of the certificate is the crest of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, which contains a snake, three maple leaves, a hand taking a pulse on a wrist, a naked man, and medical tools. On top of the crest is a helmet with a breastplate, facing to the left in a three-quarter view. On top of the helmet is a crown, and on top of the crown is a beaver, which faces left. At the left of the crest is a man wearing a robe and cape. He holds an open book in his right hand and touches the crest with his left hand. At the right of the crest is a man who wears a toga and tunic, with a laurel wreath on his head. He holds a caduceus in his left hand and touches the crest with his right hand. This man at the left may be Asclepius or Hippocrates in the guise of Asclepius. At the bottom of the crest is the phrase "FIDUS IN ARCANIS." At the bottom left of the certificate is the seal of the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons, featuring the crest and a circular border which bears the college's name. This seal may be embossed on another piece of paper and adhered to the certificate, or stamped into white wax. The certificate is displayed in a wooden frame and overlaid with glass. The edges of the frame extend outward, creating a shape like a number symbol (#). The frame is carved with leaf-like organic designs in relief, and a wooden cutout in the shape of a leaf is adhered to each corner. Inner border of the frame coated in gold leaf.

- "Certificate of Honor" awarded to Charles W. Marlatt for his "proficiency in attendance on Maternity Cases" by the St. Thomas Hospital Medical School. The certificate was signed by the President, Treasurer, and Resident Medical Officer, and dated January 15th, 1843. At the top of the certificate is the crest of the St. Thomas Hospital. The crest is split into four quadrants, and there is a dagger at the top left corner. At the top of the crest are two fleurs-de-lis and a flower (poppy?) between them. The certificate is displayed in a wooden frame and overlaid with glass. The inner border of the frame is coated in gold leaf. The edges of the frame extend outward, to create a shape similar to a number symbol (#). The frame is decorated with a leaf-like pattern carved in relief, and a leaf-shaped cutout at each corner, held in place with a pin or nail with a white, circular head. The backing of the frame consists of two thin pieces of wood.

- Framed certificate which confirms George G. Brant of Smithville has attended lectures at the Ontario College of Pharmacy and passed an examination in their subjects. Signed by the President and Registrar-Treasurer of the College on June 7th, 1907. An orange-red piece of paper embossed with the seal of the Ontario College of Pharmacy, circular and with a zig-zag edge, is adhered at the lower left corner of the certificate. At the top of the certificate is the crest of the College, which bears four images, one in each quadrant: a beaver on a log, a mortar and pestle, a hand holding balanced scales, and a caduceus. On top of the crest is an arm which holds a flaming torch. Beneath the crest is a banner which reads "CURA ATQUE INDUSTRIA" (Care/Treatment and Industry). Surrounding the certificate are more circular pieces of green paper with scalloped edges, each labelled with a year, ranging from 1916 to 1961. 1916 to 1955 are labelled with a two to four digit number, and the text "This Certificate is hereby renewed, and its powers extended to the 1st day of May [of the year following that the extension was issued]. The extension is labelled with its date of issue and the signature of the Registrar of the College. Around most of the extensions we can see a dark adhesive. The certificate is displayed in a black and golden-coloured wooden frame and overlaid with glass. The frame has a cardboard backing, and its contents are held in place with rotating hooks.

- Framed certificate which confirms that Peter Walker McMurrick McLay is a member of the Royal Medical College of Edinburgh. Signed by the President and Secretary of the College in November of 1872. At the bottom left corner of the certificate is a red, circular, embossed piece of paper with a zig-zag edge, which bears the seal of the college. At the top of the document is the crest of the college. It has a border which reads "SIGILL COLL REG MEDICOR EDINBURGH." A thistle appears at the bottom of this border in its center. The crest itself bears a tree, and a lion at its upper left corner. The helmet of a suit of armour sits on top of the crest, and sitting in a crown on top of the helmet is a small figure with a harp and quiver of arrows. A man, naked but for a garland of leaves about his waist, stands on either side of the crest. A banner below the crest reads "non sinit esse feros." The certificate is displayed in a wood and plaster frame and overlaid with glass. The inner and outer borders of the frame are coated in gold leaf, and the wood itself is stained a dark brown. The contents of the frame are held in place by a thin piece of wood.

Signed by the President and General Manager Secretary Treasurer of the Electrical Utilities Safety Association of Ontario. Dark red, embossed logo of the Association at lower left of frame. The certificate has a pink, lace-like, scalloped border. Surrounded by dark red matting. Displayed in wooden frame and overlaid with glass. The inner border of the frame is golden in colour, and the outer border is stained a dark, reddish-brown.
