- A group of 18 men and 1 woman posed on the front steps outside Arthur Voaden Vocational School, Flora Street, St. Thomas - probably the official opening of the school on September 7, 1926. Dr. Arthur Voaden, seventh from the left; John (Jack) Handford, Mayor of St. Thomas, 1926-1927, eleventh from the left; Sixth from the right is Dr. Frank E. Bennett, dental surgeon, who was a member of the building committee. Frank L. Brinkman, Mayor of St. Thomas, 1920-1921, fourth from the right; William Stokes, Mayor of St. Thomas, 1928-1929, third from the right. Fourth from the left may be Ernest C. Drury, Premier of Ontario, 1919-1923.
