Dr. Arthur Voaden, seventh from the left; John (Jack) Handford, Mayor of St. Thomas, 1926-1927, eleventh from the left; Sixth from the right is Dr. Frank E. Bennett, dental surgeon, who was a member of the building committee. Frank L. Brinkman, Mayor of St. Thomas, 1920-1921, fourth from the right; William Stokes, Mayor of St. Thomas, 1928-1929, third from the right. Fourth from the left may be Ernest C. Drury, Premier of Ontario, 1919-1923.

The staff in the Town office threw a little party for him in the afternoon, cracking open a bottle of champagne and inviting over a few old friends and colleagues. Among the celebrants was Chuck Knapp, the new clerk-treasurer, who is seen here removing Mr. Foy's name plate from his office door as Mr. Foy looks down - he's six foot, five inches tall. Mr. Foy said he will spend his retirement indulging in various hobbies which include winemaking and wood-work."
