- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 7, 1969 with caption: "Mark 80 Years of Service - An area-wide meeting of women's groups of the Christian Churches (Disciples of Christ) in the St. Thomas district was held last evening in the Princess Avenue Christian Church. The event began a weekend of celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of women's organizations in the local church. The birthday cake was cut by Mrs. W. H. Luton, now of London, Ont., who was the president when the CWF was begun in 1951. From left to right are Mrs. Ronald Dakin, wife of the minister of the Princess Avenue Church; Dr. Jessie Trout, Owen Sound, a retired missionary, who was the guest speaker; Mrs. Donald Fowler, CWF president; Mrs. Luton."
