- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published October 2, 1968 with caption: "Fifty Cents a Shingle - This is a replica of the church to be built in Formosa with the funds raised by the young people of Alma Street Presbyterian Church. The group, through projects, raised the $300 needed to build the church. One project was making shingles for the roof and selling them for 50 cents apiece. Taking part in the presentation of the cheque are (left to right) Dale Hubert, president; Brian Blaxall, treasurer; Rev. E. H. Jones, pastor of Alma Street Church."
