- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published March 8, 1978 with caption: "Runways Rented For Car Storage- Ford Motor Company of Canada, Talbotville, faced with a problem of transporting finished cars because of rail car shortage, have been seeking space in the area to store vehicles. They have rented two of the three runways at the St. Thomas Municipal Airport, which will accommodate about 4,000 cars in the 100-by-2,600-foot space. The cars were being unloaded yesterday by Auto Haulaway Ltd. of St. Thomas. The cars will be tied up there for at least one month."
