- Two black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published April 20, 1974 concerning an automobile accident that killed Lawrence Leatherdale, 20, Fingal, Ontario. Published with caption: "Fingal Man Killed - A Fingal area man died in the wreckage of this car early this morning, when the vehicle was struck by an eastbound Norfolk and Western Railway freight train at a level crossing on Highway 4 just south of Talbotville. Two other people were taken to St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital with undetermined injuries. The mishap occurred about 6:40 a.m. Elgin County Coroner Dr. R.J. Floyd of St. Thomas and Ontario Provincial Police of the St. Thomas detachment, shown above, inspect the wreckage of the car."
