- Photograph of two cars that were involved in an accident at the corner of Wellington and Elgin streets in St. Thomas. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Larson were in one vehicle and Ronald McGugan was in the other. Wellington Street School is in the background. Caption from St. Thomas Times-Journal: "Two Cars in Collision: Mrs. A. L. Larson, 32, of Fingal, was admitted to the Memorial Hospital early Wednesday morning in a critical condition as a result of a traffic accident at the corner of Wellington and Elgin streets about 1 a.m., when a car in which she was traveling was in collision with a second vehicle. Mrs. Larson was with her husband who was driving their 1941 Plymouth. Operator of the other car involved was Ronald McGugan, R. R. 7, St. Thomas. (See story page 11.)"
