- Eva Cosens (nee Thompson) was born in Harrow, Ontario to the late Lennox and Silina Thompson. She was a long-term resident of West Lorne, Ontario with her husband, Sydney Cosens, and was known locally for writing articles on community and historical affairs. She often signed her articles with the initials "ETC". She died on May 29th, 1968 in St. Thomas and is buriend at the Colchester Cemetery in Harrow, Ontario.
- Scope and Content
- Series contains a collection of handwritten notes and newspaper clippings collected by Eva Cosens. The subject of her notes are local history and include discussions of the early establishment and development of many Elgin County townsites.
