- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published June 8, 1971 with caption:" Albert Ripley of Sinclair Avenue, St. Thomas, was one of the few anglers at Port Bruce, yesterday who managed to haul in a perch... the results of six visits to the Port Bruce pier. Many of the annual enthusiats are bewildered at the absense of fish, According to them, the perch should be abundant at this time of year. However, the more than a score fishermen at the pier yesterday were confident that their luck would improve ' when the fish come in.' "
