- " .During the official opening of the town's municipal offices and police station Mayor Forrest Moore was presented with the chain of office. Town Clerk John Foy and his wife Mary donated the chain to the town. Mrs. Foy is shown presnting the chain of office to Mayor Moore. " (3a)
- " George E. Brown, of 18 Talbot Street East, former mayor of Aylmer from 1946-1948 signs the guest book at the official opening of the town's municipal offices and police facilities. Mrs. Levona Bembridge, of 605 Talbot Street West secretary of the Aylmer District Museum Board is seated." (3b)
