- A metal cap badge in the shape of an seven-pointed star with a crown at the top. There are two banners at the bottom that cover most of the bottom three points. There is a crest in the middle with a beaver at its centre. In the crest, it says "The Elgin Regiment". On the banners, it says "Officium Primum".
