Sign, St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital visitor rules, in wooden picture frame. Sign has image of nurse, wearing uniform ca. 1940s-1950s. Sign reads, "The patient you are visiting is in our care. For his benefit please observe these simple rules for visitors. Be brief. Be cheerful. Be quiet. Observe visitng hours. Limit visitors to two at a time. Protect health of children under 14 by not bringing them into hospital to visit."
