- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published July 2, 1981 with caption: "Describes 1862 House - More than 75 people took part in a 20-home walking tour of Aylmer recently. Guide Kirk Barons points out architectural details of the Beemer-Haight house on South Street, built in 1862, to a group on tour. The theme of the tour was Aylmer In 1881, and the walk included many of the homes in town that are at least a century old."
