- Scope and Content
- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 26, 1976 with caption: "Marvin Ryder, 19, a native of Aylmer, Ont., is helping the liason between his town and Aylmer, Que. The idea of the two towns keeping in touch was thought of last year and Marvin, former student council president at EESS, now taking chemistry at Carelton University, Ottawa, came to Town Council Tuesday night, to volunteer his services for liason efforts. He brought along a book from Aylmer, Que., signed by their mayor, and here, Marvin presents it to Aylmer, Ont. Mayor Forrest Moore. A book on the history of Aylmer, Ont. was presented by Marvin to the other Aylmer mayor earlier. Marvin says Aylmer, Que. is just a 15-minute drive from Ottawa."
