- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 2, 1972 with caption: "Gutted- Palmer's Camera Shop at 41 Talbot Street East in Aylmer, was completely gutted after flames broke out at 9:50 last night, two hours after the Aylmer Fire Department put out a minor fire in the rear of the store. It is suspected that the fire moved, undetected, along a wire in the ceiling of the store, until it erupted a second time."
