Here officers of the four groups are being given details of special variety blight resistant potatoes grown this year for the first time at the Ontario Hospital farm off No. 4 highway by Charles Denniss, farm manager. They are, left to right, Marion McKeown, RR 1, St. Thomas, Elgin Junior Institute; Mrs. Ray Campbell, Ailsa Craig, president Middlesex Junior Institute; Hugh Filson, Ilderton, president Middlesex Junior Farmers; Angus Campbell, president, Elgin County Junior Farmers. Others taking part in the tour are grouped about near the Ontario Hospital farm barns and on the extreme right can be seen three agriculture officials who took part in the tour. They are: William Abraham, Middlesex associate agricultural representative; Kenneth Pretty, Middlesex Soil and Crop Improvement Association field man; and Cam Clarke, assistant agricultural representative of Elgin, who arranged the tour. Being inspected are the blight resistant Canso and Keswick potatoes."
