At the left is George Jamieson, R.R. 1, West Lorne, winner of the Elgin Co-Operative Silver Tray for champion land (senior section) plowed by a resident of Elgin County; on the right is Fred Johnstone, R.R. 1, West Lorne, winner of the Topnotch Feeds Ltd. silver tray for champion land plowing for juniors 10 to 16 years inclusive; while Mrs. Neil Gilchrist, Rodney, receives the Clarence Small Trophy for ' best plowed land', ladies class, from Mr. Small."
