- Two photographic negatives of the 60th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Marsh Brown on June 8th, 1975. An envelope with the identification of what is depicted in the negative, is stored with the negative.
- 112a was published in the Tillsonburg News on June 23, 1975 with the following caption: "Mr. and Mrs. Marsh Brown of Port Burwell celebrated their 60th Anniversary on June 9, Sunday, a family dinner was held at the Legion Hall in Port Burwell, catered by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Family and friends from Cleveland, Mt. Clements, Thamesville, Port Stanley, West Lorne, Straffordville, Vienna and Port Burwell attended and congratulatory messages were received from the Queen, Prime Minister Trudeau, Premier William Davis, and Mr. and Mrs. John Wise, MP; Mr. Ron McNeil, MPP, presented a plaque from the province. The couple received many cards, flowers dn gifts, including a bouquet of flowers from the village. The couple have three daughters: Mrs. harold Hoshal, Mrs. Robert Grant and Mrs. Ken Emerson. Eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren, all were able to attend, as well as Mrs. Brown's two sisters Mrs. Annie Jackson and Ellen Williams; Mr. Brown's sister, Charlotte Murray, and brothers, Alvin Brown and Walter Brown and their wives. After dinner and speeches, the couple were entertained with musical numbers by the great grandchildren".
