- R13 S3 Sh6 B2 362a was published in the West Lorne Sun on October 26, 1978, with the caption: "Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gray celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday, Oct. 22nd. They were married in London, England, with the bride being the former Annie Bates. The groom was serving in the Canadian Army at the time. They celebrated their anniversary with their family at a dinner at the Brickhouse Restaurant. Mr. Gray is enjoying good health, but his wife is not. They received a scroll from the Prime Minister and a plaque from the Premier, plus gifts from the family, including one from Mrs. Gray's family in England, and several congratulatory cards, visits and good wishes. They have one son, Rev. Alex of Dresden, and a daughter, Grace, Mrs. Gordon Havens of Port Glasgow, plus six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The congratulations of the community are extended to them with the good wishes for many more years of health and happiness together."
