- A photograph showing individuals in a downtown area. On the reverse of the photograph, the following is written: Sam Shipp thinks this looks like Port Dover. Walter Stansell doesn't remember Frontier house. 1904 Director has a ...? who is a hotel keeper. This might be what is now Cooksons. One article from the 50's said that the present post office (south part of Red & White Store) used to be a hotel call the Frontier House. This picture is dated 1875 in an article from the T-J (neg 10 - Port Burwell Library)
