- Exhibit comprising six black and white photographs mounted on cardboard with the legend "Elgin County Exhibit, International Plowing Match, St. Thomas, Ontario, 1940". Five photographs depict various exhibits of Elgin County agricultural produce displayed in the County Exhibits tent at the 1940 International Plowing Match and Farm Machinery Demonstration held in Elgin County October 15-18, 1940, on lands adjacent to the Technical Training School (formerly and subsequently the Ontario Psychiatric Hospital), St. Thomas, Ontario and on Bannockburn Farms, property of Mitchell F. Hepburn, then Premier of Ontario. One image shows the exterior of the tent. Fragment of backing sheet attached to frame indicates that item was framed by Bishop's Art Store, 307 Talbot St., St. Thomas.
