- Digitized copy of an original survey plan of part of the Townships of Howard and Orford, County of Kent, registered September 23, 1811, Port Talbot, Lewis Burwell. Descriptive legend reads "Lake Erie from the S.W. Angle of Aldborough to the Ithmus of Point Aux Pins for the Honble Thomas Talbot Esqr". Scale 1 inch equals 40 chains. Principally shows Talbot Road (north and south) Lots 52-76 (Orford Township) and 77-97 (Howard Township), with annotations dated 1816-1818 showing names of grantees resident on these lots. Named geographic and cultural features shown in this plan include Lake Erie, "Craford's House", "Lac a la Pointe aux Pins" and areas marked "Pinery" and "barren and sandy".
