- "This One Made It - Students from the PCI summer school driver-education class watch as their vehicle goes through part of the safety check on St. Catharine Street this morning. Monday afternoon, 16 of 45 vehicles inspected were taken off the road". (11a) The St. Thomas Police and Administration of Justice Building is visible in the background.
- "Approved - Maurice Mylemans, an inspector for the Ministry of Transportation and Communications motor vehicle check discusses the vehicle inspection report with Shirley Taylor, one of 32 driver-education students in the summer school at Parkside Collegiate Institute who watched as the driver-education car went through the various tests today".
