- R13 S3 Sh6 B2 418a was published in the West Lorne Sun on April 26, 1979, with the caption: "Aldborough and WESES Public Schools' bands combined to play for a crowd of about 500 at Monday night's opening event in Education Week, held at WESS, which was called an "Evening of Music." Aldborough Public School's kindergarten rhythm band played and the choir sang under the direction of Mr. Ron Alderton, who accompanied the ukelele band on the piano. The senior elementary school's band and choir played and sang under the direction of Mrs. Jan Hillman, and WESS' Jazz ensemble, choir and band played and sang under the direction of Mr. D. Cunningham. WESES Principal, Mr. David Ballentine acted as Master of Ceremonies. The young musicians and singers were given a standing ovation."

- W9 B7 70c was published in the West Lorne Sun on April 24, 1975, with the caption: "Aldborough Public School's choir sang three numbers in Monday night's observance of Education Week, to which about 200 parents and friends of students attended. The youngsters' music thrilled the audience, particularly the theme from Disney World's "It's a small, small world." At the left is music instructor Ronald Alderton. Other features on the program were two selections by the recorder band, which Mr. Alderton also leads, tumbling by senior boys, a short address by Mr. Keith Steven of the Board of Education, an explanation of the metric system by a St. Thomas public School principal, and a few words by Principal Floyd Patterson, Vice-Principal Clarence Horton acted as master of ceremonies."
