- "Fumes and smoke shoot high in the air as fire engulfs the old Dutton Flour Mills on Main Street in Dutton. The fire broke out at 11:15 a.m. and shortly after mid-day the buildings were a mass of flaming ruins. See story on front page of second section." (1a)
- "Water from many hoses poured onto the flames that today destroyed the Dutton Flour Mills on Main street, Dutton. Firemen from Dutton, Dunwich, West Lorne and Aldborough fire departments were called out to battle the flames. It was the worst fire in the history of Dutton." (1b)

- Black and white photograph showing the exterior of the William Flater saw and shingle mill, Rodney, Ontario, 1900. The mill was originally built by Robert Mowbray, circa 1885. The mill was sold successively, to J.H. Greer and Son, to Wright and Hay of Woodstock, and, in 1895, to William Flater. The mill was enlarged in 1903 to house a basket factory. A fire in 1911 destroyed the original mill, but the 1903 addition survived. Included in the Rodney Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History.

- Black and white negative photograph, featuring an 1879 photograph of Galley's steam mill. Captioned: "Galley's steam mill dates back to 1879 and was built on the north side of Queen St., opposite the end of Sandford St. The site later was that of the Canada Casket Co., which burned down in 1913. Galley's mill had burned down earlier." Published in the Mercury-Sun on June 28, 1967. (W11 B6 144)
