- R13 S3 Sh6 B3 335a was published in the Rodney Mercury on June 11, 1981, with the caption: "102 blood donations were received Tuesday evening at the International Club, with the club winning Wire Tie's trophy for the organization providing the msot donors - 24. Chairman Peter Kleinjan was disappointed at the response, because he had hopes for exceeding the 175 donations received at the last clinic. However, he says, farmers and other potential donors are busier now than they were when the last clinic was held. Pictured giving donations were WESS students Darlene Staddon, Tracy Schnekenburger and Stuart Murray. Five other students also donated. The Red Cross and the Committee thank the International Club for providing its facilities, the cookies, soft drinks and particularly for sponsoring the advertisement in last week's issues of the The Mercury and Sun from which the club's name was inadvertently omitted."
