The 1st Aylmer Cub Pack, of which young Stephen is a member, looked on as Miss Sheila Stirling, Akela of the 8th St. Thomas group representing the district staff presented the emblem. The letter presented to Stephen contains information about the Medal of Meritorious Conduct to be presented to the boy in Ottawa by the Hon. Roland Michener, Governor General of Canada, in November.
