- In May 2020, Paul James Pressey commented: "My aunt and Uncle Dorothy and Wayne Underhill bought it in the 70's and turned it into what is now Port Bruce Manor, a group home. I remember being in it before it was converted. Rev Canon Morris was a veteran of WWII and I looked after him @ Parkwood Hospital".
