Played with special rubber-soled suction cupped running shoes, players were able to run quite fast, but could stop quickly. Good sportsmanship prevailed with no penalties called in some games."

Labatts also presented a large trophy to the championship Seaforth team and individual small trophies to players."

- Scope and Content
- Two black-and-white negative photographs featuring the Figure Skating and Minor Hockey Club draw winners, on February 6, 1986.
- W9 B3 41a was published in the West Lorne Sun on February 6, 1986, with the caption: "$100 prize winners Saturday night at the Figure Skating Club's-Minor Hockey League's elimination draw in Dutton Community Centre, were: Kevin Willcocks who received his cheque from Minor Hockey League President Maxine Kentner; and Dianne and Ray Beattie, who received their cheque from Ken Neil who represented the Figure Skating Club and runs the draw. Other $100 winners were Cheryl Verbrugghe, Ken Murray, Joe Kelly, Ed Schneider, Dick Hodder and Vic Kurshnir of Mississauga. Jacob Deyle and Hank Schnekenburger split the $1,000 grand prize, but were absent. Despite icy road conditions about 340 attended - many more than last year - and enjoyed a fine roast beef banquet catered by mothers of both clubs, and all enjoyed dancing to High Water."
