Includes the following: R4 S6 Sh3 B4 F36 1: Plan, dated October 12, 1927, to accompany an agreement with the Hyrdro Electric Power Commission for an Overheading Crossing of 4000 volt Wood Pole Line in 1 mile east of Shedden, Ontario. Shows a section of Talbot Road. R4 S6 Sh3 B4 F36 2a-b: Two plans, dated August 2, 1943 (revised date, original date is August 24, 1909), showing land leased to J.A. McLandress in Shedden, Ontario. Plan shows a portion of John Street, train depot, supply house, coal vox, stock pen and an unidentified dwelling. Plans are almost identical with slightly different annotations. R4 S6 Sh3 B4 F36 3: Plan, dated November 12, 1947, showing additional property to be leased to Orchard Brothers & Co. in Shedden, Ontario. Caption from St. Thomas Times-Journal, February 10, 1953, page ten: “Sixty-Ninth Anniversary.” 2_2758: “Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Hodgkin, residents of the Talbot Road just west of Straffordville, will observe the sixty-ninth anniversary of their wedding on Thursday of this week. Their children are arranging a party in their honor on that evening. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eli Hodgkin, of Straffordville, Mr. Hodgkin was born on the farm on which he still resides. The homestead fifty acres of the originally one-hundred acre farm is occupied by his youngest brother, Marcus Hodgkin, and Mrs. Hodgkin, but Simeon, the eldest brother of the family, resided on the other fifty acres, where he has farmed throughout his life. At first, he carried on a dairy farm, but latterly has grown tobacco.”

Annotated "Copied from M. Burwell's Plan of Survey" (i.e. plan F 501-1-0-0-14, registered November 30, 1816) and initialled "W.C." (William Chewett, Clerk in the Surveyor General's Office and later Acting Surveyor General, 1829-1832). Scale 1 inch equals 40 chains. Named geographic and cultural features shown in this plan include Lake Erie, Thames River, Talbot Road, Middle Road Line, and "Road between Howard and Harwich". Footpaths are shown travelling north from Lake Erie to the southern limit of the second concession, and from Lake Erie in the direction of Chatham (as shown and named in plan F 501-1-0-0-14). Geographic and cultural features shown in this plan include Lake Erie, Belle Point, Sturgeon Creek, Willow Island, "Point Pele or South Foreland", Muddy Creek, Two Creeks, and a (first nations?) footpath marked "Wynadot Path".
