2_2355: “Aylmer, Dec. 23 (Staff Special)—The golden anniversary of their marriage will be celebrated by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Winnington Ingram with members of their family on Christmas Day, December 14. Married on December 23, 1902, Mr. and Mrs. Ingram decided to defer the observance of the happy event until Christmas Day order that as many of heir children and their children’s children as possible could be with them.
“There is no couple in Malahide Township who are better known or who have more friends than Mr. and Mrs. Ingram. Their marriage has been a happy one and the union has been blessed with eleven children, all of whom are living. In fact their family record is a remarkable one. There has not been a death to break it since that felicitous wedding day in the Jones’ homestead at old Copenhagen. Mrs. Ingram is the former Maud Esther Jones, and like her husband belongs to a respected pioneer Malahide family.” (…)
