Englehart, 20, RR 1, Dutton. Published with caption: "Fatal Vehicle - Two Elgin County men died instantly when this truck was in a near head-on collision with a 49-car Chesapeake and Ohio freight train at a level crossing near Shedden on Sunday. OPP say the pair apparently didn't see or hear the train. The crossing signal lights were in operation when police arrived on the scene."

- Acquired in 1986 by the Elgin Historical Society. Stored as part of a much larger collection at the Elgin County Pioneer Museum. Moved to basement of Yurek's Drug Store after Museum fire in 2001. Donated to Elgin County Archives in December 2002.

- Black and white photograph of "Braithwood" farm, owned by the Gilchrist family. First purchased by John D. Gilchrist, his son James Gilchrist farmed until his death in 1918. His son John Duncan Gilchrist continued to farm the 125 acres, and added an additional 75 acres. John Duncan Gilchrist died in 1964. Included in the Iona Station Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History Book.
