Hon. Mitchell F. Hepburn, one of the strong supporters of the championship football teams St. Thomas fielded in the ‘20s and early ‘30s, is to be guest speaker. The roundup of former members of the Elgins, the Junior Tigers and the Intermediate Yellow Jackets will bring back home some from as far as New York and one at least from as far west as Winnipeg. One outcome of this first reunion may be the formation of a strong local group to stand behind new teams to represent this city. Those in the above group of reunionists are, front row, left to right, Bill Balkwill, Harry (Red) Martin, Reg (Tanglefoot) Turnbull, of Winnipeg, and Ted Medcalf; back row, Harry Medcalf, Gord Lemon, Marsh Towers, Frankie Moore and Len Neal, Toronto.”
