Increased enrolment saw two classrooms, two storage rooms and a
custodian' s room built in 1963. Michael Popovich continued as Chairman of
the Board until 1969, when the Elgin County Separate School Board was
formed. He became Chairman of the newly formed Board. Norbert Rivest
was the West Lorne representative for many years on the County Board.
