- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published April 29, 1972 with caption: "For the first time this year, the annual 2nd Aylmer Cub Pack of Our Lady of Sorrows hockey match featured the fathers facing off with their sons at the Aylmer Arena, last night. Almost 50 parents and cubs turned out to watch the game, in which the youngsters thoroughly trounced their dads, 9-5. Seen here, from left to right, are Michael VanBeers, 11; Robert Vandierendonck, 8; David Reynaert, 7; Ted Kidder, Bob Reynaert, and Joe VanBeers. Only eight of the nine winning goals were credited to the Cubs. Parent Ted Kidder seemed to have lost his bearings and scored on the wrong goalie, to give the boys their last goal."

The presentation took place at the Women's League's annual mass and picnic, held at the home of Earla Carroll, St. Andrew Street. The rain Wednesday forced the 75 or so ladies inside, but didn't dampen spirits of the participants, who enjoyed a delicious pot-luck supper under cover. The 25-year pin recipients are, from the left, front row, Ange Storgia, Loreen VanDierendonck, Erma Mortier; back row, Martha Reynaert, Marcelle Bouchaert, Theresa Klachan and Rice Van Roestel."
