- "Queen's Scouts - In a special ceremony Saturday in Aylmer at East Elgin Secondary School 108 Boy Scouts received the Queen's Scout Certificate from Deputy International Commissioner J. W. H. - "A Difficult Feat - Worming one's way through a series of tires without touching the groud is not an easy feat, but the boy in the two pictures on the left seems to have the right idea. The boy in the right hand picture appears to have met some difficulty however. these boys were among the 150 Scouts from Elgin District and neighboring districts who took part in Elgin Scout Camporee at lake Whittaker at the weekend.
