"Final Welcome At Plains - Rev. Malcolm Rust of First Yarmouth (Plains) Baptist Church welcomes two of the church's longest standing members Mrs. Clara Field, far left, and Mrs. Anna Lang at the last worship service to be held at the 150-year-old building. Following the service this week, worshippers proceeded to the new structure built on adjacent property. The old church is being removed to Sparta where it will be used as a garage and warehouse."
