preached his farewell service in May, 1958. Rev. William Glenn became pastor in September, 1958, and remained for five years until 1963'. During his ministry the date for celebrating the Dutton Church anniversary was changed from October to May. The Elgin Association met in Dutton for the fourth time in 1963. After the termination of Mr. Glenn' s ministry there was another re- grouping of churches. At the request of the Home Mission Board Dutton was Oinked with Iona Station in a two-poind field,

"Final Welcome At Plains - Rev. Malcolm Rust of First Yarmouth (Plains) Baptist Church welcomes two of the church's longest standing members Mrs. Clara Field, far left, and Mrs. Anna Lang at the last worship service to be held at the 150-year-old building. Following the service this week, worshippers proceeded to the new structure built on adjacent property. The old church is being removed to Sparta where it will be used as a garage and warehouse."
