was Oinked with Iona Station in a two-poind field, and Mr. John Russell, a
student from McMaster became the first pastor of the two churches. He
was to live in Hamilton and spend Saturdays and Sundays on the field.

Following the service this week, worshippers proceeded to the new structure built on adjacent property. The old church is being removed to Sparta where it will be used as a garage and warehouse."
