- 86 Elgin St was built for William E. Idsardi in 1891 at a cost of $4500. Idsardi was a former Alderman and Mayor in St. Thomas. The house was designed by architect John Z. Long and built by Hawes and Matchett. It was owned by the Idsardi family until 1940, until it was sold to the Disbrowe family, who owned the house for over forty years.

- Programme for the 60th Anniversary Reunion of the 91st Battalion, C.E.F., held June 22, 1975. Includes names and other information about 172 members of the Battalion killed in action during the First World War, along with the names of 77 surviving members of the Battalion. The Battalion received orders to mobilize on October 23, 1915.
