- This is a plaque consisting of a dark wooden rectangular base, a photograph under a plastic cover, and a gold plaque. The photograph depicts a group of eleven people standing in on the steps of the Elgin County building. Ten of the people are dressed in yellow shirts with the Ontario Plowmen's Assocition logo on them. One man, Dave Mennill, is dressed in a black robe with a red livery collar/chain of office. The photograph is under a plastic cover what is attached to the base with four gold pins. Below the photograph is the gold plaque. The plaque includes the Ontario Plowmen's Association logo, and the text "International Plowing Match County of Elgin September 2010 2010 IPM Executive Committee From left, front row: Allister Cameron, Co-Secretary; Duncan McPhail, Chair; Bill Walters, Vice-Chair; Dave Mennill, Elgin County Warden (2011); Cathy Bishop, Human Resources Coordinator; Donna Lunn, Vice-Chair. - The International Plowing Match, held annually in Ontario, is North America's largest outdoor agricultural and rural expo. It is usually held in late September, and usually attracts more than 80,000 visitors over the 5-day event. Plowing Matches have been part of Ontario agricultural history for over a century. Early events were sponsored by Agricultural Societies. The Ontario Plowmen's Association was formed in 1911. The first International Plowing Match was held in 1913.

- Belonged to Eliza Mary Wigmore Millman.
Eliza was certified as a midwife in England in 1908. She was appointed by her family to accompany her younger brother to Canada to join his two older brothers’ in St. Thomas, Ontario. She was so sea sick on the journey to Canada she never returned to England.
Eliza married farmer Robert H. Millman from Dexter, Ontario.
She was unable to serve as a midwife in Canada, but it is believed that she continued to practice and assisted the indigenous women who lived on the back of the farm.

10th (County of London) Battalion, London Regiment (Hackney) was a battalion of the London Regiment, the only all-Territorial Force regiment in the British Army. The battalion existed between 1912 and 1955 and was later re-attached to the Rifle Brigade, Royal Berkshire Regiment and Royal Artillery.

- This is a cap badge for the depicting a blackened brass Maltese cross, above the top arm is a tablet bearing "EXCEL", surmounted by a King's crown. The top arm of the cross bears the battle honour "SOUTH AFRICA 1900 - 02". In the centre is a circlet bearing "12TH COUNTY OF LONDON" encircling a strung bugle horn. Across the bottom of the cross is a scroll bearing "THE RANGERS". On reverse there is a slider clasp.

The Rangers was a volunteer unit of the British Army, originally formed in 1860. It provided a detachment for service in the Second Boer War, saw intensive action on the Western Front in the First World War (including the Battles of the Somme and Passchendaele), and served as motorised infantry during the Second World War during the campaigns in Greece and the Western Desert.

The 19th Battalion, London Regiment (St Pancras) was a Volunteer unit of the British Army in existence from 1860 to 1961 under various titles. A detachment served in the Second Boer War and two full battalions fought in World War I, receiving the surrender of Jerusalem and crossing the Jordan among other exploits.
