On the shot, Paul Savage attempted to knock Wight's shot rock out of the house, and stay for a single point. The shot, however, was heavy, and did not hit the Newfoundland stone squarely, and the Ontario rock slid through the house. Newfoundland's rock slid to 12-foot ring, and they scored two points in the end." (24e2)
