The Kids Korner is 30 minutes of events and fun children ages five to seven can participate in each Saturday afternoon from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Jennifer thought that the library should have more of a community input instead of being just a place to borrow books and read. She plans different events each week from teaching French to making all sorts of crafts. Considering that the day was cold, Jennifer managed to have six children turn out for the first session. Janna Watson, 7, said she likes making puppets best and couldn't wait for the next Saturday to arrive. When spring arrives, the Kids Korner will be held outside. Librarians Mrs. Elinor Given and Mrs. Wilfred Chalk were surprised at how well the 30-minute event went."

Landscaping is presently being carried out and the green grass will contrast pleasantly with the light brown brick and white woodwork of the building." The adequate office space is apparent with, to the rear, the steps leading into the library on the right, and, rear centre, the dinette for the staff.
