A second arsenal was built in Lindsay, Ontario, during WWI, and other plants were built or converted to small arms and artillery-shell production during WWII by the Department of Munitions and Supply. In September 1945 these were brought together as Canadian Arsenals Limited, a crown corporation now reporting to the Department of Supply and Services. 1

- In January 2023, Allan Miller stated the following via email: "I want to point out that Maj Stacey was no longer a member of the CEF. He could have been there as still listed as an officer of the 25th Regiment and authorized to be in uniform. Watson never returned to Canada and was demobilized in the UK. Stacey would perhaps return to St Thomas and close his business. He deceased in the UK as well as his son and wife".

The photographer has etched this caption on the negative: "Crowd assembled at depot to bid Farewell to 91st Btn". View is looking northeast and includes businesses on the north side of Talbot Street, including the Chant Sperrin Dry Goods store on the northeast corner of Talbot and Manitoba Streets (801 Talbot Street), George W. Durkee, auctioneer (773), Bertrand A. Sumner, confectioner (779) - "Fresh Candy" on store awning, and the International Hotel (819-825). Balaclava Street Public School and Grace Methodist Church (after 1925, Grace United Church) are also partially visible. Several men have risked electrocution to climb a hydro pole for a better view.

- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 8, 1967 with caption:" The 91st Batalion Association elected their new officers on Saturday afternoon and discussed future plans. Re-elected were, Rev. J.L. Petrie, president; Jack Orrell, vice-president and Charles E. Baldwin, secretary-treasurer. Members decided the 51st anniversary service of the First World War would be held on Sunday, June 25. A wreath will be placed at the cenotaph on Pearl Street at 2 p.m. and a rememberance service will be held at 3 p.m. in the Legion Hall conducted by Mr. Petrie and Rev. Charles Cook. Shown from left to right are. Mr. Petrie, Jim Baron, Harvey Petit, Art Freeman, and Mr. Baldwin."
