A different picture, however, is presented today, for three modern schools, Holy Angels', St. Raphael's and St. Michael's serve the needs of the city[']s Catholic school children, while auxiliary class rooms at St. Gabriel[']s will soon be replaced by a new multi-roomed school. This school is in the fast-growing area east of First Avenue on Elm Street." (8d2)

- File contains an Abstract of Lease of Company Property, dated March 1, 1954, between the New York Central Railroad (lessor) and Ellis and Howard Limited (lessee). The agreement grants the company permission to lease property owned by the railway to be used in connection with adjoining premises controlled by the lessee under lease from the lessor. File also contains a plan, dated February 9, 1954, showing the site in London, Ontario, near Colborne and Bathurst Streets; plan shows the New York Central Railroad freight house and shed, the Facey Coal Co. lease and the Ellis and House Ltd. building. File also includes correspondence and tax assessments for the years 1954-1955.

- View of the St. Thomas, Ontario Canada Southern Railway bridge while under construction in 1872.
This shows the first bridge constructed in this location (the original wooden trestle built by the Canada Southern Railway in 1872). An iron trestle bridge was built by the MCR in 1883 to replace this bridge. That second bridge was then demolished in 1929 to make way for the current concrete trestle (built 1929-1930). This current bridge, known as the MCR / Kettle Creek Bridge, is currently being used as an Elevated Park.
